What is Delta ms

Delta-MS is a high-performance foundation air-gap membrane designed to protect foundation walls from moisture and water intrusion. It is a durable, environmentally friendly alternative to traditional damp proofing spray, manufactured from high-density polyethylene, with approximately 60% of the material made from recycled content.

The membrane features a unique dimpled design that creates a continuous air gap between the foundation wall and surrounding soil. This air gap allows water to flow freely down the face of the foundation and be directed safely into the weeping tile system below, rather than building pressure against the wall. By relieving hydrostatic pressure, Delta-MS helps prevent moisture penetration, leaks, and long-term foundation deterioration.

Delta-MS is especially well suited for our climate, where seasonal temperature changes cause foundations to expand and contract. Unlike rigid coatings, the flexible air-gap membrane can accommodate this natural movement. If minor foundation cracking occurs, the membrane remains intact and continues to perform as intended, maintaining a consistent drainage path and moisture barrier.

Our Process

Our Delta-MS installation process begins with proper foundation preparation. The foundation wall is exposed and inspected to ensure it is suitable for membrane installation and that any necessary foundation repairs or crack sealing are completed beforehand.

Once prepared, the Delta-MS membrane is securely fastened to the foundation wall, extending from grade level down to the footing. Careful attention is given to overlaps, fastening points, and termination details to ensure continuous coverage and reliable performance. The membrane is installed in a way that allows water to drain freely downward into the weeping tile system, where it can be safely redirected away from the home.

After installation, the membrane is properly protected and backfilled according to best practices, ensuring it remains undamaged and effective over the long term.
